Editorial Intern

• Pitched and wrote five articles weekly, going through several draft phases and creating visuals as needed. 

• Used Asana to create, update, and complete tasks for monthly projects. 

• Tracked articles through the production stages and reviewed standards of quality and typesetting.

• Created weekly reports for dorm tours by researching college students from across America to represent all types of the college experience.

Editor at Large

• Upheld each of the 10 departments’ timelines and editorial deadlines by maintaining a standard for the print issue through leadership, completing administrative duties, and establishing detail-oriented goals.

• Advised the academic advisor and team of directors on decision-making, conflict management, and creating new editorial ideas for print in weekly editorial meetings.

• Evaluated and copyedited student articles and provided feedback for storytelling and editorial techniques.

• Previous Assistant Fashion Editor, Fashion Editor, Managing Editor, Marketing Director, and Editor in Chief. Gained hands-on editorial and administrative experience through each role.

Agentry PR

Fashion PR Intern

• Improved client exposure through copywriting and copyediting editor pitches based on collections.

• Organized and maintained showroom records of client merchandise and cross-referenced with Excel sheets.

• Conducted administrative responsibilities for the Agentry PR team, such as coordinating client merchandise deliveries, scheduling internal and external meetings, and emailing clients on behalf of the Account Executives.

Experience Team Intern

• Collaborated with executives to create specialized brand events from start to finish.

• Executed through sourcing, venue and vendor outreach, and assisting with proposals for corporate metadata.

• Designed and wrote an informational pamphlet and newsletter for the corporate intern program and used journalistic techniques to conduct intern interviews, following the corporate style guide.

• Completed administrative tasks for the Experience Team, such as scheduling internal and external meetings, taking notes on venue tours, attaining merchandise for brand events, and organizing and increasing internal records of venue and vendor resources.
