I am interested how groups and institutions are capable of being agents. I'm also interested in how the individuals in them are able to act in virtue of being members of those groups, or how their agency is shaped or constrained by being a group member or occupying an institutional role. This includes groups we don't choose to be part of, like race, gender, and (sometimes) national citizenship, and groups we do, like bands, political parties, fan clubs, or sports teams.
