These prototypes were created very quickly for game jams, or as design practice across a variety of genres.
I earned a Distinction in my Level 5 Diploma in Professional Game Design for this project, and I've been hooked on game development ever since.

Snip Happens is a 2D point-and-click puzzle game where players cut ropes with precision to solve challenges across several levels filled with hazards like spikes and flying scissors.
The game features an economy, checkpoint and unlockable upgrades system:
Purchase abilities like transforming into a bowling ball or freezing moving enemies for a few seconds.
Earn collectable rewards in each level by completing "trick shots" which can be traded at merchant milestones.
Save your progress at checkpoints placed at regular intervals.
These mechanics create variety, reward risk-taking, and encourage replayability.
Slumber’s Lumber is a tongue-in-cheek 2D idle clicker game I created for the Games For Forests Jam.
The goal of the Jam was to create a game that raises awareness of the importance of forests in our natural world. I wanted to poke fun at the real dangers of deforestation by corporate greed, while still staying true to the design of traditional clicker games.
Collect Lumber and convert it into PROFITS
Purchase upgrades for the lumbermill to reach milestones faster
Make decisions while dealing with special events to protect your reputation
Manage your resources and reputation meter in order to win the game
A "choose your own adventure" survival horror game based on "Hansel & Gretel", created in Twine.
This text-based survival horror game reimagines the tale of Hansel and Gretel as a grim, "choose your own adventure" style game with branching paths and multiple endings.
