Over the Summer of 2024 from June 4 to August 9, I had the amazing opportunity to be a technical theater intern at the Aurora Fox Arts Center. I was mentored by the Fox’s technical director Brandon Case. I worked Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 3pm. In the beginning I worked on minor projects such as building a cut list holder for the miter saw and table saw, or moving tables and cleaning up. After their production of The Lightning Thief ended, I helped strike it. I also helped build the set for Around the World in 80 Days, and got featured in their playbill. Finally, I learned some Vectorworks.
