Lauren Jiang is an incoming Research Scientist at Google DeepMind. She is also a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at University of Pennsylvania, where she is fortunate to be advised by Prof. Camillo J. Taylor and collaborates with Prof. Dan Roth and Prof. Lyle Ungar. Her research focuses on personalization and memory, reinforcement learning and post-training, synthetic data and evaluation, and multimodality for AI models and agents at scale.
She received her B.S. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with highest honors and Bronze Tablet distinction, advised by Prof. Sanmi Koyejo and Prof. Yoram Bresler. She has also been a research intern at Microsoft and a visiting student at Argonne National Laboratory.
