Lauren Schechter

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Social Science Research Council's Prosecution Research Initiative and the NYU Public Safety Lab.  I received my PhD in Economics from the University of Colorado - Boulder in May 2022. I am an applied microeconomist with interests in violence prevention and public safety, labor markets, and the social safety net.
