Biography

Lauren Blank is a freelance illustrator, biologist, entrepreneur, and animator.  She is currently studying biology and animation at Lipscomb University, with plans to pursue a medical/biological illustration MFA upon graduation in 2025.

Medical illustration bridges the gap between information and understanding through the use of art, visuals, and animations. By combining her skill in art and knowledge in science, Lauren hopes to communicate the beauty of science through art.
