Laurel Lee has led the Escapees for 25 years in Oregon, Florida, and North Carolina. The fire in hot, classic honky tonk brings a lot of joy to the stage. Not only is there a lot of love for classic and hot pickin' Americana, there is a deep appreciation for the poets and poetry of the modern age.

Matt Daniels comes to country music honestly, through his musician grandmother Dorothy Duffy, and his mentor, legendary RCA studio guitarist, Hank Garland. He is considered a favored picker throughout the honky tonk and traditional music circles.

Laurel Lee and the band are currently recording their fourth original recording.
