Steven, BriAnne, Elliot, and Kameron moved to Alleghany County in January of 2016. Steven served as Principal of Piney Creek Elementary for over four years. Recently, he transitioned to the Central Office for Alleghany Schools as the Director of Technology, Testing & Accountability, Public Information, and Grant Writing. BriAnne worked for Alleghany County Schools for three years and then accepted a position with the NC Department of Public Instruction as an Education Consultant. Both boys attend Alleghany County Schools. Elliot,15, is a Freshman at Alleghany High. He is a Boy Scout and enjoys outdoor activities and cross-country running. Kameron,12, is a sixth-grader at Piney Creek Elementary and plays football for the local youth league. Kam has a deep love for agriculture and thinks Alleghany is the best place to be. The family attends Grace Community Church where they are involved in the Children's Ministry, Praise Team, and Media.
