First Grade

First-grade students have been learning about plants and their parts.

SC.1.L.14.2-Identify the major parts of plants, including stem, roots, leaves, and flowers

Instructions:

1. Watch the video, and have a conversation with your child about the four main parts of the plant (leaves, stem, roots, flowers).

2. Use a blank sheet of paper to draw and identify each part of the plant(see example below).

3. Go to the last session to find more first-grade Science resources.
