Associate Professor in the Logistics and Aeronautics Unit within the Department of Telecommunications and Systems Engineering at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I am the Coordinator of the Degree in Aeronautical Management (link) and a member of the research group Intelligent Computing & Systems Optimization (link).

My main line of research is the design of hybrid optimization algorithms applied to sustainable logistics and transportation.

I have participated in several competitive projects: two national and one regional (industrial phd). I have supervised 1 doctoral thesis and I am currently supervising four doctoral theses. I have published over 40 JCR-indexed articles and more than 25 conference proceedings, many of them in international collaboration. Additionally, I have been a visiting scholar at the University of Portsmouth and Guy Carpenter. Since 2025, I'm a project evaluator for the Agencia Estatal de Investigación (Spanish National Research Agency). 

I hold a Ph.D. in Network and Information Technologies (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, UOC), an M.S. in Applied Statistics and Operations Research (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, UPC & Universitat de Barcelona, UB), a B.Sc. in Applied Statistics (UAB), and a B.Sc. in Economics (UAB).
