Since February 2023, Dr. Calvet is a Lecturer of Supply Chain Management in the Dept. of Telecommunications and Systems Engineering at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona  (UAB).  Since January 2024, she has been the assistant director of the Degree in Aeronautical Management.

She holds a Ph.D. in Network and Information Technologies (completed at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, UOC), an M.S. in Applied Statistics and Operations Research (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, UPC, & Universitat de Barcelona, UB), a B.Sc. in Applied Statistics (UAB) and a B.Sc. in Economics (UAB). 

Her main lines of research are: 

1. Air Traffic Management

2. Design of optimization algorithms relying on the use of metaheuristics, machine learning and/or simulation applied to sustainable logistics & transportation

She has published 36 articles in JCR-indexed journals and 62 papers indexed in Scopus.
