Laura
Martín Agudelo

Laura is a trilingual science journalist based in Washington, D.C., fluent in English, Spanish, and French. 

Originally from Colombia, she has worked in France as a staff writer in a medical magazine and was most recently a Diverse Voices in Science Journalism intern at Science magazine, where she reported in English and Spanish on such topics as health, science policy, research misconduct, and AI, while contributing to fact-checking and translation needs. 

Laura holds an M.S. in science writing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.A. in international studies from Sorbonne University. 

She is also a Stanford Health Media Fellow (2026-2027) and a member of the Oxford Climate Journalism Network (2025).
