I'm now an associate professor in the Department of Geology at Cal Poly Humboldt. I currently teach Sedimentary Geology (GEOL 332), Glacial Geology (GEOL 452/552), Earth Systems History (GEOL 210), Introductory Geology (GEOL 109), Advanced Field Methods (GEOL 435), Field Camp (GEOL 475), Communicating Science (GEOL 700), Quaternary Stratigraphy (GEOL 453/553). I have active research projects in northern California to determine how glaciers responded to climate changes since the last ice age and dating and describing the physical characteristics of peatlands.
