Liability limitation: Laundry Xpress will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or theft of items that occur during the laundering process or during pick-up and delivery.
Abandoned items: We strive to provide excellent customer service and to ensure the timely return of your items. However, any articles left unclaimed after 28 days from the date of service completion will be considered abandoned. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to these unclaimed items.
Clothing care
Discolouration on clothing: While we take utmost care in handling and laundering your clothing, there is a possibility that certain fabrics may be prone to discolouration or fading due to their inherent nature or previous wear and tear. We recommend separating delicate or sensitive garments from the rest to minimize the risk. We cannot be held responsible for any discolouration that may occur during the laundering process.
Draperies and curtains dried via sunlight option: We offer a sunlight drying option for draperies and curtains upon request. However, please note that prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause fading or discolouration. By choosing this option, you acknowledge that any damage resulting from sunlight drying is not our responsibility.
Shrinkage: We take great care to follow care instructions provided by the manufacturer for each garment. However, certain fabrics may shrink when exposed to water or heat, even when following these instructions. We cannot be held responsible for any shrinkage that occurs during the laundering process.
Colour bleeding: We make every effort to prevent colour bleeding during the laundering process. However, some fabrics, especially new or heavily dyed ones, may release colour and cause bleeding. Please ensure that you separate items according to their colour to minimize this risk. We cannot be held responsible for any colour bleeding that may occur.
Stain removal: Stains: We employ professional stain removal techniques to treat stains on your garments. While we strive for the best results, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains. The outcome of stain removal depends on various factors such as the type of stain, fabric, and the age of the stain. We will make every reasonable effort to treat and remove stains, but we cannot be held responsible for unsuccessful stain removal.
Delicate or special items: Customers MUST separate and identify any delicate or special items that require extra care or specific instructions. Laundry Xpress will make reasonable efforts to follow these instructions, but cannot guarantee the outcome or take responsibility for any damage that may occur.
Tears: We handle your garments with care, but occasionally, wear and tear or weakened fabric may result in tears or holes. Please inform us of any existing tears or weak spots in your garments before laundering. We cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs during the laundering process.
No shoes or mats: We do not accept shoes or mats for laundering. Please refrain from including these items with your laundry, as we cannot process them.
Mending and hemming by request: We offer mending and hemming services upon request. Please inform us of any specific requirements or instructions for mending and hemming when you submit your laundry. Additional charges may apply for these services.
Pick-up and delivery: We offer convenient pick-up and delivery services for your laundry. While we take every precaution to ensure the safe handling and transportation of your items, we cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, or delay that may occur during the pick-up or delivery process.
Discrepancies and complaints: If any problems occur with your laundry, such as loss, damage, or unsatisfactory service, please contact us immediately. We will investigate the issue thoroughly and take appropriate measures to resolve the problem. Our priority is to ensure your satisfaction, and we will work with you to find a fair resolution.
Pricing and payment: Our pricing is based on various factors, including the size of the load, the type of material, and the time required for laundering. We reserve the right to adjust our prices accordingly. Any changes in pricing will be communicated to you in advance, and you will have the option to accept or decline the revised price before we proceed with the service. Accepted methods of payment (Paywise#868-734-2250) and Cash and any applicable cancellation or refund policies.
Cancellation and Refund Policy for Laundry Xpress
Cancellation of Service: Customers may cancel their laundry service by providing advance notice to the laundry service provider. The specific notice period required for cancellation should be clearly stated in the policy (e.g., 24 hours, 48 hours). Failure to cancel within the specified timeframe may result in a cancellation fee.
Cancellation Fee: In case of late cancellations or no-shows, Laundry Xpress reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee. The fee is $35.00 on every load completed, delivered or dropped off, reflective of the costs incurred by the service provider.
Refunds for Prepaid Services: If a customer has prepaid for laundry services and cancels within the allowable cancellation period, the laundry service provider will provide a refund for the unused portion of the service. The refund may be subject to a deduction of 11% on every load for any applicable cancellation fees.
Refund Eligibility: Refunds may be provided in the following scenarios:
a. Service not rendered: If Laundry Xpress fails to fulfil the agreed-upon service for reasons within their control, such as equipment failure or staff availability issues.
b. Unsatisfactory service: If the customer is dissatisfied with the quality of the service provided and can provide valid reasons for the dissatisfaction.
Refund Request: Customers domestic or corporate must submit a refund request in writing, providing detailed information about the issue and supporting evidence, such as photographs or receipts, if applicable. The refund request should be submitted within a specified timeframe, which should be clearly communicated in the policy (e.g., within 7 days of service completion).
Refund Processing: Upon receiving a valid refund request, the Laundry Xpress provider will review the request and investigate the issue. If the request is deemed valid, the refund will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, usually within 14 days. The refund will be issued using the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed upon.
Non-refundable Items: Certain items or services may be non-refundable, and this should be clearly communicated to customers. For example, special or customized services, such as pressing, alterations or repairs, are non-refundable once the service has been performed.
Discretionary Refunds: In some cases, Laundry Xpress may offer discretionary refunds as a gesture of goodwill. These refunds are not obligatory and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Modification of Services: Laundry Xpress reserves the right to modify or cancel services in exceptional circumstances, such as natural disasters, emergencies, or unforeseen operational issues. In such cases, Laundry Xpress will make reasonable efforts to notify customers in advance and provide alternative solutions, including rescheduling or refunding the affected services.
Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, including service requirements and instructions ensure Laundry Xpress can deliver the desired service. We emphasize Laundry Xpress is not responsible for any items left in pockets or any resulting damage. Failure to provide accurate information may affect the eligibility for refunds.
Policy Updates: This cancellation and refund policy may be subject to change at the discretion of Laundry Xpress. Customers will be notified of any policy updates through appropriate channels, such as our website, social media or direct communication.
