  • College Board provides a lot of great resources to help guide you through your college application process. You can look up school profiles, explore different career paths, get advice on how to maximize your chances of getting accepted, and much more.
  • College Greenlight profiles thousands of universities and colleges, giving you in-depth information on what each school has to offer. Additionally, they help organize your college search and application processes, as well as keep track of important deadlines. They also provide information on scholarships.
  • Unigo also provides detailed profiles of different schools. They also have a "college match" feature that lists a number of schools that they think will fit you well, based on your preferences.
  • College Scorecard is a government-run website that allows you to compare and contrast different schools so that you can choose one that fits your needs.
  • Khan Academy not only provides help with college and scholarship applications, but also advice on how to approach your senior year of high school. They also offer an in-depth exploration of the many college options that are available to you.
  • Federal Student Aid, a branch of the U.S. Department of Education, provides a number of resources that will assist you in applying for loans, grants, and scholarships.
  • Coursera offers a free online course on how to apply to college, specifically tailored towards students and families who do not have access to a range of counseling support and resources. It's a 2-3 hours/week time commitment, and new sessions are offered every 4 weeks starting on July 31, with an enrollment period of 5 days.
