Recruitment Process

This year's recruitment process is completed. Be prepared with practical skills in electronics and mechanical. We are looking forward to recruit individuals who have a practical knowledge in fields related to Electronics and Mechanical.


The recruitment process have two stages :-

Stage 1:

Written test (For electronics) : Your electronics knowledge (Arduino, Sensors and Communication) along with programming knowledge will be tested.

Design test (For mechanical) : The mechanical design test will be based on current mission and previous mission. Candidates will be asked to design mechanisms and techniques on paper.

The total marks are yet to be decided.


Stage 2:

Based on the test results interview will be conducted and candidates will be evaluated on a scale of 100. Interviews will be conducted for both Electronics and Mechanical team separately.


Candidates must clear all the stages for getting considered in the final selection list.


Important Skills we are looking for in a candidate (These skills will be evaluated on all stages of the competition) :-

Required skill-set for Electronics and Software team :-

  • Critical/Analytical thinking skill
  • Programming skills (Any language)
  • Knowledge on micro-controllers and communication protocols used
  • Knowledge of sensors, motor drivers, servo motors etc.
  • Documentation skills
  • Experience on projects

Some references (We won't be asking specific questions from books, these are just for reference and to understand what is important for the team from Electronics and programming view) :-

  • Arduino Cookbook, Michael Margolis, O'Rielly Media (Available in library)
  • Python Programming for Arduino, Patrick Desai, PACKT publication
  • GUI programming in any language.

Required skill-set for Mechanical Design team :-

  • Practical manufacturing/fabrication skills and hands-on experience on mechanical projects
  • Design skills
  • Knowledge of Material Science subject
  • 3D CAD modelling (using UGNX, SolidWorks, etc.)
  • Analysis (using Ansys, HyperMesh, etc.)
  • Documentation skills
