Latinx Class Projects

Loyola University New Orleans

The Latinx population in New Orleans and at Loyola University New Orleans is both diverse and unique. Comprising a variety of experiences that combine first- and second-generation (and beyond!) immigration from Latin America and Spain, with local cultures, the Hispanic population on campus is very vibrant and growing each year.

This is the repository for my "Latinx Experiences in the U.S." class. I really enjoy learning from my students and exploring the topics with them. While not all of them identify strictly as "Latinx," topics such as identity and immigration are so universal that each found a way to reflect on them. One of the assignments was to create a personal project, and with their permission, I created this website to display those efforts.
