Dr. Laté Ayao, Lawson

Economist and Data Analyst

I am a PhD in Economics with background qualifications in both Econometrics and Economics. I currently serve as Senior Research Manager - Data at ESSA (in the UK & Ghana). My research interests encompass both theoretical and applied economics and are mostly Biodiversity and Energy Economics, Demographic Change and Sustainable Development oriented.

In addition, my recent work explores compelling topics such as School-to-Work Transition, Job-Skill mismatch, and delves into understanding the intricate education data landscape in Africa.

I am also a data enthusiast and a firm believer in data as the lifeblood of informed decision-making.

Here you can find preprints of some of my research work.
