The Bus will depart at 12.00 in front of the university, lunch packages will be provided.

We will visit the wine region of Georgia Kvareli. At the wine domain Khareba we will visit the wine tunnels and participate in the opening of qvevris, the amphora-type vessels from clay, where wine is still produced in the Greek and Roman manner. This will be followed by a wine tasting of qvevri wines accompanied by traditional Georgian singing. The participants may keep the drinking vessels.

We then proceed to the palace and extraordinary garden of the famous Georgian duke Aleqsandre Chavchavadse.

Afterward, we will return to Tbilisi for the conference dinner

Traditional Georgian will be performed

The bus will leave from the main entrance of the University at 18.00. We will visit the medieval town of Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia, and the location of Georgia's most important cathedral. We will look at the famous confluence of the rivers and drink a cocktail in Cafe Tatin before returning to Tbilisi.
