I am a lifelong resident of Davis County.  I grew up in Centerville, attended Viewmont High School and Weber State University, graduating with degrees in Spanish Language and Literature, as well as Mechanical Engineering Technology.  My mom was a public school teacher here in Davis County.  She taught me to think critically and to seek to understand other points of view. My dad was a refinery worker who taught me the value of hard work. 
My family and I have made Layton/Kaysville our home for the last 24 years.  My children all attended Davis High School.  
I don't have political aspirations.  I'm just a regular guy/husband/father that wants to make our community a place where our children/neighbors can afford to live and feel welcome.  I'm running for HD17 to try to do my part.
