In the app: open Settings > Delete Account and confirm (email accounts will be asked for their password).
By email: send a request to rabapps.dev@gmail.com from the email linked to your account, with the subject "LaSing account deletion".
What is deleted: your account, profile (name, age, country), email, Pro status records, and device/session information stored on our servers.
What is kept: nothing, except records we are legally required to keep. Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request.
On your device: your song library and karaoke sessions are stored only on your device, not on our servers. Clear the app's storage or uninstall the app to remove them.
LaSing Karaoke ("the App", "we", "us") lets you play your own karaoke videos on your phone or TV, and lets guests join from their own phones to search songs and reserve turns. This policy explains what information the App uses, why, and what choices you have. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
a. Account information (optional sign-in). Signing in is optional. You may sign in with Google or create an account with an email address and password through Firebase Authentication. We receive your name (Google sign-in), email address, and a unique user ID. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are never visible to us.
b. Profile information. If you edit your profile, we store your first name, last name, display name, age, and country in Firebase Cloud Firestore, linked to your user ID and email. This is shown on your karaoke screen and to your guests.
c. Pro status and account activity. If you have LaSing Pro, we store your Pro status, its source (for example Google Play), and expiry in Firestore so the App can unlock Pro features. We also store account activity such as creation and last login times, and the name and an app-generated ID of the device you are signed in on, to keep your account tied to your active device and to prevent misuse.
d. Karaoke library and sessions (stored on your device only). When you pick a folder, the App scans it for karaoke video files. The file names, folder path, song numbers, queue, singer names, scores, and session settings are saved locally on your device. Your videos and song library are not uploaded to us or to any server.
e. Guest connections (local network only). When you host, your device runs a local server on your Wi-Fi or hotspot. Guests connect with a room code or QR code, and the host may require a PIN. Singer names, device identifiers used to recognize a guest within the session, song requests, and scores are exchanged directly between the devices on that network. This data does not pass through our servers.
f. Advertising data. The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads, and to personalize ads where permitted. g. Crash and diagnostic data. We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic information (such as device model, operating system version, and app state at the time of a crash) to fix bugs.
h. App integrity data. We use Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity to confirm that requests come from a genuine copy of the App. This involves device and app integrity signals handled by Google.
Storage / videos: to find and play karaoke video files in the folder you choose. Files are read on your device and are not uploaded.
Network / Wi-Fi and nearby devices access: to let guests connect to the host over your local network, and to use sign-in, Pro, and ads when online.
Camera: to scan the host's QR code, for the Camera background mode, and to record your performance. No images are stored except recordings you choose to make, which are saved on your device and not uploaded.
Microphone: only while you record a performance. Recordings are saved on your device and are not uploaded.
Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob for advertising, as described above.
We use information to:
Provide the karaoke features (playing songs, queues, scoring, guest joining)
Sign you in and keep your profile and Pro status
Show ads in the free version
Find and fix crashes and improve stability
Protect the App and our services from abuse
We do not sell your personal information.
The App uses services provided by Google, which have their own privacy policies:

If you buy Pro, the payment is handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store your card or payment details.
We share information only:
With the service providers listed above, to operate the App
With other people in your karaoke session, such as your display name, singer name, and scores, which guests on your network can see
When required by law, or to protect our rights and users' safety
Profile and Pro data in Firestore is kept while your account exists. Data stored on your device stays there until you clear it, end the session, or uninstall the App. Crash and ad data are retained by the respective providers under their own policies.
Sign-in is optional. You can use the App's core karaoke features without an account.
Edit your profile anytime in the App.
Delete your account and data as described at the top of this policy.
Ads personalization: you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
Local data: clear the App's storage or uninstall the App to remove everything stored on your device.
If you are in the Philippines, you also have rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173), including the right to be informed, to access, to correct, and to object. Contact us to exercise them.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us at rabapps.dev@gmail.com and we will delete it.
We use reasonable measures, including Firebase security rules and App Check, to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and local-network sessions are only as private as the Wi-Fi network you use. Host on a network you trust.
You are responsible for having the right to use the karaoke videos you play. The App includes a small set of original built-in songs; it does not provide, host, or distribute any other songs.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always show the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
