Dan Gallagher and his wife, Jane, came down from Chicago for the event. We brought up Dan's contribution to La Salle's history (recall Dan came up with the name "Lancers" and the new principal grabbed a pic with him and Tweeted it out.

Pie Eating Champion! At the reunion last night, Tim Waechter brought up a memory from grade school at Assumption. Turns out he, Bill Effler and Bob Wenzel were in a pie eating contest in front of Little Dutch Bakery. Bob won and headed to the finals in downtown Cincinnati but was defeated handily. There was some debate about whether Bob cheated or not (how do you cheat in a pie-eating contest?)
