Las Vegas Turkey Trot 2026

Course

3.1 Miles of peaceful Gilcrease Orchard views and beautiful snowy mountains. The course is relatively flat making it easy and achievable for all levels of athletes.

5K Race for family, friends, and memories

Event Date: November 26th, 2026 (Thanksgiving Morning)

Cost: $15 (all the funds go towards the race and supplies needed)

Event Location: Arbor View High School

America’s first beloved holiday should be celebrated with food, family and a morning walk/jog/run.

Join us as we gather as a community to start Thanksgiving Day off on the right turkey leg 🤪

First 100 to register receive bib, commemorative pin, water and banana, and Long sleeve race T-shirt while supplies last.

Eligible racers ages 7+

Race Day Registration opens at 6:45am and closes at 7:20am check in at Arbor View High School parking lot

Race starts at 7:15am - and should end by 8:30am

There will be 3 heats:

Running heat (Green bands) 7:15am

Jogging heat (Pink bands) 7:20am

Walking heat (Red Bands) 7:30am

Participants agree to run at their own risk, as part of your community we ask that you follow all traffic signs and signals during the race, your community is not responsible for any injuries.

Cash only race.

Spectators are Free to watch.

There will be a marked route with orange flags to guide your path and yellow arrows for turning points.

Upon registration - Email will be sent with payment option and confirmation of registration for day of the race gear pick up.

My name is Jenny Santana, in Aug of 2025, I woke up not being able to walk, pain covered every joint in my body, the doctors diagnosed me with RA an auto immune disease. I 'cold turkey' (pun intended) traded sugar for walking and have been since healed from my pain. I started this race as a way to commemorate and remember the gift of walking again. I'm not an influencer or ever want to be but I can volunteer my time to something I know many would benefit from. I'm a follower of Jesus, an engineer for the gas company, a wife, a mother of 2 young boys, a volunteer, a friend, and I'm over here following my dreams of coordinating a 5k for my community. I don't know what I'm doing but lets figure it out together lol. I hope you'll join the fun this year and to make a lasting impact in my community every year on Thanksgiving day, my favorite holiday :) gobble gobble....
