Check Out Instructions

We appreciate your help with a few check out items:

• To properly follow CDC cleaning guidelines and provide our guests with the safest experience possible, check-out time is now promptly 10:00 AM.

• Make sure windows and doors are closed and locked.

• Verify fireplaces are turned off.

• Cover Hot tub and set Hot tub to "off" (pump will remain on, but jets should not be bubbling or heating)

• Make sure all boats and paddles are put away under the deck.

• Please load and start dishwasher and/or hand wash dishes before you depart. Kindly do not leave dirty dishes.

• Turn off all lights except front door light switch (which is labeled). Please especially check outdoor lights in back and on garage.

• Garbage: The trash needs to be taken to Big Bass Lake trash and recycling center. This is located in front of the Maintenance building just before the administration office (across from the check-in gate). When you pull in to the trash and recycling center there is a large trash bin on the right. The front side has a door that you open and throw the trash bags in. You can take trash as often as you like. It is open 24/7.

• Recycling: BBL recycles broken down cardboard and tin/aluminum only. These are placed in the appropriate receptacles at the Trash and Recycling center.

• DO NOT LEAVE FOOD OR TRASH OUTSIDE OR ON DECK. There are bears and other wild animals in the area that will get into bags and containers.

• It is very important that you do not leave any trash at the house.
