Larisa West is an actress, improviser, and director currently based in Staunton, Virginia. She is passionate about movement work and Shakespeare.
Her journey into the realm of theatre began with Commedia Dell’Arte, where she found an enthusiasm for clowning and bardic based performance. West holds a B.S. in Marketing and a B.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Pittsburgh.
She is currently pursuing her MLitt & MFA in Shakespeare and Performance at Mary Baldwin University.
Larisa is currently an Acting Fellow (u/s) at the The American Shakespeare Center's Fall 2025-2026 season: Romeo and Juliet, Two Gentleman of Verona and The Pirate Ballad of Bonny and Read
Larisa is currently working on her MLitt Thesis at Mary Baldwin University.
Larisa was previously an Acting Fellow (u/s) at the The American Shakespeare Center for the Spring 2025 season: King Lear, Little Women and The Comedy of Errors.
