While strides have been made in advancing diversity and inclusion within the mathematical community, there remains a significant journey ahead.
I believe that an essential part of this remaining journey is to create community spaces where mathematicians from underrepresented and marginalised groups can connect and work together with colleagues and mentors who share similar backgrounds and experiences.
For this reason, I am deeply dedicated to contributing all I can to establish these inclusive spaces, and I am always happy to take part in those where I myself belong.
In this spirit, you will find below a list of links to events, articles, blogs, and associations, that I find an enduring source of inspiration.
Throughout 2025, I was an organiser of the Women+ Lunch at RUG Department of Mathematics. This series of monthly lunch meetings brings together women and nonbinary master students and staff at RUG Maths department, with the aim of creating a safe space to share experiences and build community.
Between 18-23 August 2025, I was a group leader in the research workshop Women In Numbers Europe 5 (WINE-5) held in Split, Croatia.
Between 7-12 July 2024, I was a group leader in the research workshop Diversity in Finite Fields and Coding Theory held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The workshop aimed at "bringing together women and underrepresented minorities in mathematics, both from Brazil and abroad, to carry out joint research on Finite Fields and Coding Theory".
