About Me

Hello! I am Lara, a tango and Argentine folk dancer and teacher. 

Born and raised in Rosario, Argentina, a port city and tango hub. 

I understand dance as a universal and powerful language, capable of conveying emotions, thoughts and sensations in a unique and artistic way.

In my teaching philosophy, I approach dance from four key perspectives: the rhythmic, the melodic, the choreographic and the expressive. Each of these aspects is equally important and we will explore them through different exercises and techniques so that you can learn to understand their importance and how they complement each other.

Tango is an improvisational dance, which means it is crucial to work on the figures, but it is also important to learn to take advantage of the resources that the music provides to enhance our ability to express ourselves. Through a variety of exercises, I will help you sensitize your body so that you can hear your own voice in dance and also hear your partner, resulting in a dance where both people are present and aware. 

My goal is to guide you on a journey full of discoveries, where you will learn to express yourself clearly and effectively through dance. With me, you will find a welcoming and safe environment where you can explore your skills and grow as a dancer. I look forward to seeing you in my classes for a unique and enriching experience!
