La Qundagua Fishing Pier is a private pier located along the beautiful Arroyo Colorado in Arroyo City. It is located along Farm to Market Road 2925, about 10 Miles northeast of Rio Hondo, Texas. Beautiful views of where the Old Arroyo and Arroyo Colorado fork. It offers great fishing on the dock, charcoal and gas grill for barbequing along with a BBQ area, lighted fishing pier and a fire pit to allow you to relax and forget all the stress in your life. Life is good when you are going fishing!

Our private pier is 30' x 20'. Large enough to allow you to fish comfortably and still have enough room for your family to sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful Arroyo views. Shade is provided by an 8'x12' sun shade and an 6'x8' covered area with misting fans to help cool off. Bluetooth speaker is available to allow you to listen to your favorite music. TV on the pier to allow you to watch your favorite show or sports event.

Our pier has two 5 foot benches for your use while you are fishing. We have 6 captain chairs to allow your guests to relax and watch you fish. But feel free to bring along your favorite chair to relax in. There are additional plugs if you wish to bring additional electrical equipment (fans, speakers, etc).

Fishing at night is done with the use of two above ground 1000W green fishing lights and one underwater fishing light. Specked trout are abundant all year long with an occasional red fish, flounder and even some alligator gar. Live shrimp work best under a popping cork or use the glow in the dark soft plastics.

Come sit and lounge around the fire pit and create memories or cook some s'mores. We have several Adirondack chairs and benches to accommodate your entire family. It is a perfect way to start new family traditions.

BBQ Area
Dedicated BBQ area with charcoal grill, gas grill and two picnic tables to allow you to make memorable meals all year round. At night, lights are set to come on from dusk to dawn, so no worries about having enough lighting. Just relax and enjoy.

For those that do not like to fish, you can hang out in the hammock, enjoy a game of corn hole, or be entertained while challenging yourself on the giant jenga set. For more group fun enjoy a game of Volleyball or Badminton during your stay.

Cabin Suite Rental (Pier included):
1️⃣ONE night rentals allowed during the weeknights (Sunday through Wednesday night)
2️⃣ TWO night minimum rental required on the weekend (Friday and Saturday nights)
⚠️During the School Year, in general we cannot book different groups for "back to back" stays. Please check with us for availability based on our current bookings and to see if we can make an exception.
💲Cost:
All Cabin Suite Reservations are for a MAXIMUM of 6 Guests.
➕💲For groups larger than 6: If inviting family or friends to visit the property during your stay, each additional guest is $5.
(LIMIT of 15 Total Guests on the property throughout your stay, including the initial guests staying overnight in the Cabin)
*ONLY 6 GUESTS ARE ALLOWED OVERNIGHT IN THE CABIN SUITE.
Weeknight rentals: $130 per night (Plus a $20 Cleaning Fee per Stay)
Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/**Thursday
Weekend rentals: $420 for the weekend (no cleaning fees will be charged)
☑️Check in at 5 pm Friday and check out at 11 am Sunday
Security Deposit - $100 required to reserve, to be returned within 24 hours after Check Out, provided no items are missing or damaged (such as linens, remote controls, fridge, microwave, Keurig, or TVs). Please provide your Payment Info to us for return of Security Deposit, along with the full name of renter when paying the Security Deposit.
FULL Balance due no later than 24 hrs before Scheduled Check In Time on day of rental. If the balance is not received by then, your reservation may be canceled and your Security Deposit will be forfeited.
Extended Time via Early Check In or Late Check Out MAY BE AVAILABLE at an Extra Cost of $5 per additional hour. (Check with us first to determine what is available while booking your Reservation.)
HOLIDAY PRICING: For stays that include a Holiday or a Holiday Weekend, the nightly rate will be charged at $235 per night. No cleaning fees will be charged. Holidays/Holiday Weekends INCLUDE the following:

CANCELLATION POLICY:
***Free cancellation 8 or more days before beginning date of your reservation. Forfeit of $100 Security Deposit if cancelled within 7 days of check-in or if balance not paid in full no later than 24 hrs before Scheduled Check In Time. Rebooking fee of $50 is required to reserve new dates.

Two bait shops are close by: Arroyo City Bait Shop (956-748-0006) and Arroyo City Country Store (956-748-2442).
Only 2 miles from El Rey Boat Ramp.
Only a 5 minute drive from the following restaurants: Chilly Willy's, Dirty Red's Bar and Grill and Hooked on the Arroyo. All 3 establishments offer a great alternative to cooking for yourself. They have the best burgers around!
TIDES: Tide times and charts for Padre Island (south End), Texas and weather forecast for fishing in Padre Island (south End) in 2023 (tides4fishing.com) For the best time to fish. Arroyo City tides are 2 hours after Padre Island times.
