Helping New LAPD Hires Find Affordable Housing

This new program offers subsidies up to $24,000 for housing in the City of Los Angeles for up to two years after you are hired.

PSLF Program
Your Direct-student loans can be forgiven through the PSLF program
Have a Direct Loan (or consolidate other federal loans into a direct loan)
Work full time for LAPD
Make 120 qualifying on-time payments
Submit 30 min paperwork to forgive.

Under the 10-year Standard Repayment Plan, generally your loans will be paid in full once you have made the 120 qualifying PSLF payments and there will be no balance to forgive.
