The Metropolitan Special Weapons and Tactics unit is a specalised unit within the Los Angeles Police Department that responds to high risk calls, conducts high risk warrant apprehension, hostage rescue. The unit is provided with the most modern tools for policing to ensure the utmost results.
The unit is actively being led by Sergeant @TimmyHam, and can be contacted via discord @timmyham1
The Chain of Command involves @TimmyHam as the unit's Commanding Officer, and @bowling_bed as the unit's Executive Officer.
The Special Weapons and Tactics unit has various sub-teams within it, this can vary from the Rapid Response Team, the Crisis Negotiation Unit, the Warrant Execution Team.

WARRANT SERVICES TEAM
The Warrant Execution Team serves warrants on individuals whom have warrants for their arrest. They have the authority to detain an individual if they believe that the individual is responsible for a crime.
RAPID RESPONSE TEAM
The Rapid Response Team combines the expertise of a standard Tactical Operations Squadron with the rapid aspects of a Emergency Medical Response Crew, this type of system aims to assist critical incidents in which medical aid and tactical intervention are needed.
CRISIS NEGOTIATION TEAM
The Crisis Negotiation Team is a specalised team within the Special Weapons and Tactics, trained with the aim to rapidly respond to high risk situations that need immediate crisis intervention; equipped and trained with the latest tech and advanced tactics, weapons, to ensure incidents are resolved safely for all law enforcement and civilian personnel involved.
To join the Special Weapons and Tactics unit, you are required to be a Los Angeles Police Department Police Officer+II.
Upon reaching the Police Officer+II rank, you can apply for the Special Weapons & Tactics within the Los Angeles Police Department discord server.
