Lanop Business & Tax Advisors is a UK-based firm supporting entrepreneurs, SMEs, and international clients with tax, structuring, and business decisions. We started in 2009 with a clear focus, not just to handle compliance, but to help clients make better commercial decisions before they become tax problems.
Today, we operate as a fully digital advisory firm, working across the UK and internationally. From day-to-day tax matters to complex cross-border structuring, our role stays the same to give clear, direct advice that reflects the reality of your business.

How Lanop Started
Lanop was founded in 2009 after Aurangzaib Chawla identified a consistent problem in the market: most accountants focused on compliance, not advice. Businesses were getting their returns filed, but not the guidance needed to make better decisions.
When our first office opened in Putney in 2010, the goal was simple: to work as a commercial partner, not just an annual reporting function. That meant getting involved earlier, understanding the full business context, and advising on structure, tax, and growth before issues arise.
With first-hand experience across construction, property, and e-commerce, the approach was shaped by real business challenges, not just theory. Clients were not looking for more reports; they needed clear direction on what to do and why it mattered.
