I am a Full Professor of Political Science at Bocconi University, in Milan, Italy. I am a member of the Department of Social and Political Sciences, and currently serve as the Job Market Manager on the department's Executive Committee.  

I am a Research Fellow at both the Dondena Centre for Research on Social Dynamics and Public Policy and the Institute for European Policymaking.  

I am also the Director of Bocconi's Master of Science program in Politics and Policy Analysis.

My primary research areas are comparative politics, representation, democratic institutions, coalition bargaining, political economy, and applied statistics. My work has been published in the American Political Science Review, the American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Politics, Political Analysis, and Oxford University Press, among other academic outlets, and has been awarded several disciplinary prizes.  

I teach courses in comparative politics and democratic representation at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
