Reasons to learn languages

The 5th grade had the task to come up with 10 good reasons to learn foreign languages.

These are their ideas:

1. We need languages to travel.

2. We need langauges for work.

3. We need foreign languages to find relevant information online.

4. We need languages to order food abroad.

5. We need to learn languages to find friends around the world.

6. We should learn langauges to improve our general skills.

7. We should learn foreign langauges so we can speak to turists on the beach.

8. We should learn languages so we can understand and sing songs.

9. We need languages so we can read books in original version.

10. We should learn languages to better understand other cultures.
