Interviews

The Language Keeper Interview Series both celebrates an individual care for intangible cultural heritage, and encourages an audience to listen to personal language stories to better understand why language workers do what they do. Each semi-structured public interview features a candid conversation with an individual involved in language work. The participants discuss their motivations, challenges, and successes.

By looking at language keepers outside of a specific language silo, the series hopes to establish a collective understanding of the pressures different minoritized language communities face. This information can help people design how we as a globe of supporters can respond to improve the environment for language diversity.
