I was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. I studied Arabic in Jordan for a year before attending college, then moved to Washington, D.C. to attend George Washington University. I completed a dual degree in Middle East Studies and Arabic in 2016, and began teaching Arabic at a high school in Denver that same year. I moved to Michigan with my partner in 2020 to support his studies at U of M and to continue my work as an Arabic teacher. This is my second year at Scarlett, and I’m glad to be here!
