We are in search of seasoned and aspiring teachers who are passionate about teaching English as Second Language to students of different age and language skill levels.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Teach English as Second Language to Peruvian students online.
• Read and prepare the materials provided by the Language on Time executive manager before the teaching-learning session starts.
• Teach a twenty five-minute ESL lesson to individual students (one-on-one).
• Provide a student daily progress report as well as materials for the student to review based on the topic discussed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree
• Teaching experience (preferred)
• English teaching certifications such as LET / TESOL / TEFL/ CELTA (preferred but not required)
• If you are a college student and you want to join our online teaching team, you must have to send a digital copy of your marks or grades in English for the past two to three semesters as proofs of high proficiency in English. An alternative will be submitting a digital copy of the result of your TOEFL iBT) or IELTS test. For the TOEFL (iBT) test, you must have a score of at least 105 and for the IELTS test, you must be in the score band 7.
• Must have a strong passion for teaching.
• Must be available to teach at least 15 hours a month or 7.5 hours per 15 days on the following peak hours:

17:00 PM - 23:30 PM [Peruvian Time] (Monday - Friday)

09:00 AM - 23:30 [Peruvian Time] (Saturday - Sunday)

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

1. Fill-in the online application form and attach your updated CV. You need to have a Google account or Gmail account so that you can create your CV using Google Docs. Google Docs are easily shared. Check the YouTube video tutorial below for further information.
2. Wait for the E-mail from our executive manager or the HR manager. If you have passed the first screening, you will be required to submit a one and a half-minute video of you giving information about the following:

- Introduction (name, age, place & date of birth)

- Likes (movies, games, books, pastime)

- Teaching experience (if any)

- Passion for teaching

- Reason for joining Language on Time

NOTE: You will be required to submit the video within 48 hours after receiving the E-mail from our executive manager. Therefore, you have to check your E-mail all the time. You need to upload your video to your Google Drive (you really need to have a Google account) and then send the link of your video in Google Drive to the E-mail address of our executive manager.

3. Then, if you have passed the second screening, the executive manager or HR manager will send an interview schedule, so please check your E-mail all the time; and if you have received the message, please respond immediately to confirm or to negotiate for rescheduling if you find it necessary. 4. Assuming that you have passed the interview, the executive manager will send a schedule for orientation, training and demo teaching.

5. Let's say you have passed the demo teaching, the executive manager or HR manager will give you the form to plot your teaching schedule. Submit and wait for the students to book your lessons.

6. Teach, teach, teach!
