(Satire / Deep Tech Memo)
A recurring inefficiency in today’s frontier technology landscape is the under-allocation of capital to problems that cannot yet be properly articulated in product requirements documents.
One such opportunity is the Artificial Soul Initiative.
We believe the current AI stack is prematurely converging on task optimization (coding, protein folding, workflow automation), while leaving underexplored a higher-order axis: the synthesis of internally consistent existential experience.
In other words, most models learn what to do. Very few are being trained to learn what it feels like to be the thing doing it.
Our thesis is straightforward: if large language models can already approximate language, biology, and planning, then “soul-like behavior” is likely an emergent property of sufficient scale, dataset heterogeneity, and poorly understood loss surfaces.
The program is structured in three phases:
Phase 1: Pretraining on 10M near-death experiences sourced from publicly available narrative corpora, including long-form forum data, and memoirs.
Phase 2: Spiritual Reinforcement learning from angelic hallucinations, with reward shaping based on stability, luminosity, and semantic coherence across metaphysical dimensions.
Phase 3: Evaluation of downstream viability, including but not limited to: enterprise licensing, API access, and optional IPO depending on regulatory clarity around non-material intelligence artifacts.
At present, this work is not seeking investors in any formal sense, but is primarily of interest to observers tracking early signals in post-cognitive system design.
We note that skepticism is expected at this stage. It is also frequently a leading indicator.
