Langify - AI Language Tutor (Bundle ID: com.learn.ai.tutor.pro) (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you use our iOS application.


By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.


1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide AI language tutoring services and improve the performance of the App.


1.1 Information You Provide

Name (if entered)

Email address (if you contact support)

Language learning preferences (e.g., base/target language, level, goals)

Messages, prompts, voice-to-text input submitted to the AI tutor


We use this solely to provide AI language learning responses and improve user experience. We do not sell or rent your personal information.


1.2 AI Prompt Data (Sent to Third-Party AI Provider)

When you use AI tutoring, we send your prompt text (and the learning profile fields above) to our AI provider to generate a reply.


Data sent: chat messages/voice transcripts you submit, learning preferences, and technical request data.

Recipient: OpenAI, L.L.C. (https://openai.com, Privacy Policy: https://openai.com/privacy)

Not sent: Apple ID, payment info, contacts, photos, device files.


1.3 User Permission (Required Before Sending)

Before any prompt is sent to OpenAI, the App shows a consent dialog. If you do not agree, no data is transmitted and AI chat stays disabled. You can withdraw consent at any time by declining the prompt; AI chat will remain off.


1.4 Usage & Technical Information

We may collect non-personal data (device model, iOS version, app version, anonymous identifiers, crash/performance logs, feature usage) to improve stability and reliability. This does not identify you personally.


1.5 Payment Information

All purchases use Apple’s App Store. We do not collect or store payment data. Apple handles billing (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

3. Purchases & Prompt Packages

One-time prompt packages:
$12.99 (20 prompts),
$24.99 (100 prompts),
$39.99 (300 prompts).

 Charged to your Apple ID at purchase. Refunds via Apple (https://reportaproblem.apple.com).


4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share limited data only with:

AI Service: OpenAI (prompts and learning preferences) to generate responses.

Service Providers: cloud hosting, analytics, performance/ads/monetization SDKs (e.g., Google Mobile Ads, Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics, Adapty) as applicable. These providers must maintain equivalent data protection.

Legal: if required by law.


5. Data Retention

We keep data only as needed to provide services and meet legal duties. Prompt content is retained only transiently for response generation. You may request deletion via the contact below.


6. Security

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.


7. Children’s Privacy

Not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children; we delete it if discovered.
