O Waves,
Wash the weight of the world from me,
For I am plagued by it,
And I desire to feel anew
O Waves,
Bring me calm,
Bring me peace,
Bring me clarity
O Waves,
You hypnotize me,
You pull me further into your grasp
Firmly.
O Waves,
Your open hands have now closed
I now wear you upon every surface
And now I am breathing you.
To be on the edge of the Earth
Facing the debris or the fall
Inches from losing it all
the beauty and risk that arises at a burst
And yet it draws me further
Further down the path
From which the journey will not last
Certainly a tedious endevour
Now,
The sun falls
while radiantly presenting its dying breath
And the moon dances
upon the water after it has left
For this perilous journey had been set
This is the end.
Once again,
I find myself exploring
The darkness in my mind
The void that emerges
After false promises of dreams
Still I hope,
To see them
To feel them
To live them
To savor the droplets of rain
And respire the smoke of embers
Only to be dissapointed,
Yet still,
I hope,
Once again.
