When I was in middle school I started working at Gleaners, and absolutley loved it. I felt like I made such a big impact, so I have continued to volunteer at Gleaners, even in college.

Mitochondrial Walk
Mitochondrial Walk
In Academics for Civic Engagement(ACE), I got to volunteer for a mitochondrial walk for United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation in which we set up for the walk, and we were actually also able to do the walk with the teams raising money, and got to hear some heartfelt stories. This definitley influenced me to try to get more involved in ACE next year.
