Pursuing a landmark designation for Lincolnwood School and preserving its adjoining open land for future generations is a proactive step to protect this thriving, long standing and multi-community asset.
📜 Our Nomination
On Wednesday, October 22nd, we nominated Lincolnwood School as a landmark with the City of Evanston in an effort to preserve the architecture, as well as the cultural and social heritage of the building and grounds. 📌 Our NEXT Public Hearing
Evanston’s Preservation Commission will meet again on Tuesday, February 10th at 7 pm to discuss our nomination.

Our FIRST Public Hearing
Evanston’s Preservation Commission met at City Hall on Tuesday, January 13th at 7 pm to discuss our nomination. At the end of the meeting, the school district requested more time to conduct research and a continuation was granted.
