Welcome to Lancasters SMP. This server and its related services are owned, operated, and managed by Lancasters Studios. By accessing our server, website, Discord, or any associated platform (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("ToS") and our Universal Copyright & Usage License (LSUC&UL).

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use our Services.

1. Eligibility and Access

• Agreement: You must follow these terms and all in-game community rules.

• Account Security: You are responsible for your Minecraft account.

• Account Sharing: Actions under your account are treated as your own.

• Service Modification: Lancasters Studios may modify or restrict access at any time.

2. Intellectual Property & Ownership

• Proprietary Systems: Lancasters Studios owns all original server assets.

• Protected Assets: Ownership includes custom plugins, configurations, and maps.

• No Rights Transferred: Using the server does not grant you ownership rights.

• Third-Party Content: External mods or resources belong to their respective owners.

3. Player-Created Content (Player Works)

• Player Ownership: You retain full ownership of your builds and artwork.

• Usage License: You grant Lancasters Studios a royalty-free, worldwide license.

• Promotional Use: We may feature your builds on social media and Modrinth.

• Community Sharing: You may share your content externally and credit the server.

• Asset Protection: You may not redistribute proprietary Lancasters Studios systems.

4. Code of Conduct & Prohibited Uses

• No Impersonation: You may not use protected names or logos falsely.

• No Intellectual Property Theft: You cannot copy or distribute server software.

• No Commercial Exploitation: You may not sell server assets without written permission.

• Disruption: Cheating, exploiting bugs, or disrupting services is strictly prohibited.

5. Brand Protection & Trademarks

• Protected Names: "Lancasters SMP" and "Lancasters Studios" are protected.

• Visual Identity: Branding and logos may not be used to cause confusion.

• Prior Authorization: Any external commercial use requires written studio consent.

6. Termination of Service

• Right to Ban: We reserve the right to terminate access without notice.

• Rule Violations: Violating the ToS or LSUC&UL results in immediate suspension.

• Data Retention: Terminated accounts lose access to in-game structures and assets.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• "As-Is" Basis: Services are provided without warranties of any kind.

• Data Loss: We are not liable for lost builds due to server wipes or resets.

• Financial Liability: Lancasters Studios is not responsible for any indirect damages.

8. Changes to Terms

• Right to Update: We may update these terms at our sole discretion.

• Acceptance of Changes: Continued use of the server constitutes acceptance of new terms.
