Legislation introduced in the Virginia General Assembly and recently signed into law will result in two significant changes to the athletic pre-participation examination (physical) requirements for FCPS student-athletes:
Beginning July 1, 2025, athletic physicals will be considered valid for a period of 14 months from the date the form is signed by the medical provider completing the exam. This is the date on page 3 of the VHSL Athletic Participation/Parent Consent/Physical Examination Form (revised January 2021).
Beginning May 1, 2025, FCPS student-athletes are EXPECTED to have athletic physicals completed on the new VHSL Athletic Participation/Parental Consent/Evaluation Form (revised April 2025).
Fall Sports Information 2025-26 School Year

Click on the google form and submit your information to the coach of your particular sport. Student-athletes are also encouraged to use the contact information below to connect with the coaches. Coaches may be sending out additional information and/or conducting meetings at some point as well.

Attendance at green day workouts or yellow day workouts will require a physical and a hard copy of the emergency care card to be given to the coaches. Any student who is planning to participate in a fall is strongly encouraged to workout and be active as much as possible.

4. Special Events for the purpose of devising and implementing methods of operations for special events
5. Promotions, Media, and Public Relations Committee for the purpose of devising and implementing methods of operations for publications (or web site) of the organization
