WORK IN PROGRESS
My first ever ceramics project where I attempted to create a Sea Otter and it took 3 weeks to make. -2023
A handmade mug and plate created with the theme 'space' and 'Greek Mythology' in mind. It was my third ceramics project and it took 4 weeks to complete. -2023
This is the finished product of my mug and plate. It was displayed in the Katonah museum of art for young artists in 2024.Â
For my fourth ceramics project, I decided to combine my interest in theatre with clay and create a set design. This set design is a part of my IB Production Proposal for The Laramie Project by the Tectonic Theatre Company. -2023
Created as a present for my Father, this was the second time using the Pottery Wheel. The decorative top was created from a happy accident. -2023
Created as a present for my mother, this was the third time I had ever used the Pottery Wheel. The red glaze was chosen to match her favourite colour. -2023
This box was my fifth ceramics project and it was inspired by my Nana and great-grandmother as well as my Maltese heritage. The sides of the project are decorated in shells as a nod to my great-grandmother who would create wooden boxes decorated with shells for my mother. These shells would be scavenged by her on the beaches of Australia, my home country. The top of the box holds detailed carvings that resemble traditional Maltese tiles.
