dEPARTMENT sEAL
The Department Seal represents the Institutional culture of the school. The different elements and the significance of each are as follows:
Network
Computer networking refers to the communication of connected computing devices (such as laptops, desktops, servers, smartphones, and tablets) as well as an ever-expanding array of IoT devices (such as cameras, door locks, doorbells, refrigerators, audio/visual systems, thermostats, and various sensors).
Binary Number
A binary number is defined in digital electronics and mathematics as a number expressed in the binary system or base 2 numeral system. It denotes numerical values with two distinct symbols: 1 (one) and 0. (zero). The positional notation with 2 as a radix is the base-2 system. Because of its direct implementation in electronic circuits using logic gates, the binary system is used internally by almost all modern computers and computer-based devices. Every digit is known as a bit.
Circuit
Computer circuits are binary, with only two possible states. They use on-off switches (transistors) that are opened and closed electrically in nanoseconds and picoseconds (billionths and trillionths of a second).
Jigsaw Puzzle
A jigsaw puzzle is a type of tiling puzzle that requires the assembly of irregularly shaped interlocking and mosaiced pieces, each of which contains a portion of a picture. When the puzzle pieces are put together, they form a complete picture.
Angle Bracket
The angle bracket (< or >), which is also called an “inequality sign” for its use in mathematics, is a kind of sideways caret that can be used to include tags or pieces of code. This ASCII set of characters is common in web design and other types of coding projects.
Okir
Okir is a pattern or design that is frequently depicted or carved in materials including wood, brass, silver, and wall paintings with wavy lines and Arabic geometric shapes. The Okir Motif is a work of art that showcases the Maranaos’ native creativity and talent.
