Engineering Manager, AI/ML at NVIDIA
Machine Learning Engineer at LinkedIn
Data Scientist at IBM
Ph.D. at NC State University
I received my Bachelor degree from both Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) and Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) in June 2012 and received my Master degree from BUPT in March 2015. My research area was in Heterogeneous Cellular Networks. I received my Ph.D. degree from North Carolina State University (NCSU) under the supervision of Dr. Alexandra Duel-Hallen. My research interests are game-theoretic/learning methods and security issues in smart-grid/microgird systems. I'm also professional with Machine Learning/Data Science and I've interned as a Data Scientist at IBM security. I was a Data Scientist at IBM Cloud Watson AIOps where I led the development of Real-Time Statistical Model for log anomaly detection. I also worked as Machine Learning Engineer at LinkedIn Flagship Search AI team focusing on Blended Search Page Ranking and Knowledge-Card Recommendation. In 2023, I joined NVIDIA as a Staff MLE in Enterprise AI & Automation team. I'm now a Engineering Manager leading initiatives to advance core AI capabilities and quality for AI products.
Oct 30th, 2024: I've been promoted as an Engineering Manager, AI/ML at NVIDIA.
August 28th, 2023: I joined NVIDIA as a full-time Staff MLE.
March 14th, 2022: I joined LinkedIn as a full-time Machine Learning Engineer.
November 23rd, 2021: I was awarded the Outstanding Technical Achievement Award (OTAA) due to the development of Real-Time Statistical Model.
September 14th, 2020: I joined IBM as a full-time Data Scientist.
October, 30th, 2020: I passed my Final exam! Here is the slides.
May, 8th, 2019: I passed my Preliminary Exam! I'm a Ph.D. candidate now! Here are my report and slides.
February, 20th, 2019: I received the Data Scientist Internship offer from IBM. I'm going to join IBM @Sandy Springs office from May 20th.
March, 27th, 2017: I passed my Qualifying exam. Here are my qualifying review report and slides.
