PARADE OF LIGHTS December 4, 7-9pm 2025 @ Downtown Walnut Creek
NEXT COMMUNITY MEETING December 16, 6:30-7:30 2025 @ Mountain Mikes Pizza in Moraga
We had our first aquaponic meeting, where we got to see some of Dinah's completed tanks and also watched her build a nano tank from start to finish.
This year we finally got a rabbit show in our county, which is HUGE! Rabbit project members attended and a couple of them showed their rabbits.
This was the quickest harvest to date...unfortunately this last season has been rough on the bees. Our leaders all lost their personal hives and our 4-H hive dwindled significantly. Fortunately we still managed to get 10 frames of capped honey from the hive before this occurred, so we still got 2 cases of gorgeous honey!
October's community meeting is a wrap! Believe it or not, there is a member inside all that toilet paper! Members gathered into teams and picked someone to get wrapped!
We co-hosted a petting zoo with Tassajarra 4-H, at a pumpkin patch hosted by the founder of Lamorinda 4-H, Michelle Fanto-Chan. This was Beatrice's(who belongs to a former 4-H member) first outing and she was an absolute gem! She has been a solo goat at Campolindo, so she loved getting attention all day.
