During the 2020-2021 School Year the La Monte PTO and La Monte Booster Club dissolved and combined to form the La Monte R-IV School Foundation.
The purposes for which the corporation is organized are to:
a. Assist the La Monte R-IV School District in its mission of making quality educational programs and opportunities available for its students, employees, and patrons; and
b. The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Foundation Board Members: Jessie Elwell, Amber Breshears, Amber Knoernschild, Carrie Pummill, Averie Thompson, Dara Blakely, Megan Jones, Brittany Dillon, Coach Floyd, Rachelle Rieckhoff. We would love to add more board members from the community! Please contact one of us if you are interested! We strive to have a diverse board of individuals including business owners and alumni!

FOUNDATION UPDATES
The Foundation is proud to have recently purchased bags, jackets, and more for all students in school organizations and athletics to use and wear to competitions and when representing our school. We installed large screen TVs in the new gym lobby to feature booster sponsors, menu specials, student successes, and show the games as broadcast by the school's new Hudl game tracking system. The foundation also provides grant funds to our educators and funds field trips and field day for the district. We have worked with SFCC CTC to have window wraps installed throughout the buildings, purchased pop-up tents for outdoor activities in conjunction with the Finley Memorial, and are continually update the concession stand processes with a new Square system. New "press" photo backdrops have been added in both school hallways for school social media posts, the school newspaper, and more! We are also working with Mr. Tom Files on a yearbook digitization project that we hope to unvail this fall at the alumni banquet.
We thank you for supporting us through the concession stand at sporting events and our largest fundraiser of the year, the school carnival.
We are also grateful to those that choose to become sponsors of the foundation and encourage you to sponsor and reap the rewards of $1.00 admission to games.
(Note: All past booster "memberships" have expired so a new sponsorship is required to obtain a card good for $1.00 game admission.) With the foundation format, you are not purchasing a "membership" to the foundation as the foundation format operates with a board.
