Students in the Library Learning Commons at LA Matheson Secondary must adhere to the following policy:

We are not disruptive (accessibility issue)
We are not destructive (safety and accessibility issue)
We wear masks and sanitize on entry/exit

The library learning commons at LAM is committed to providing a safe place for all members of the school community to embrace and explore their passions, interests, and learning needs.

Open Book Exchange

The Library Learning Commons welcomes students for open book exchange Monday-Friday with safety measures in place during the following times:

Monday- Thursday

Before school 8:10-8:25am; Lunch 11:25-11:40am; After-school 3:00-3:15pm

Friday

Before school 9:00-15am; Lunch 11:50-12:05pm; After-school 3:00-3:15pm

The Library Learning Commons welcomes students for open book exchange Monday-Friday with safety measures in place during the following times:

Peer Tutoring

We have a fabulous group of after school tutors available to work with any student who needs help. This year tutoring will be one on one and prescheduled by you and your teachers.

Available every Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from 3:00-4:00pm

Drop-in & Study

Due to Covid-19, we are CLOSED to drop-in students.

Study students are permitted during instructional time when no class is using the space and must sign-in.

Desk-side Pick-up Available

If you know the title and author of the book you are interested in, you can reserve it by sending Ms. Gleeson an email or Teams message!
